Community Health Specialist Cumbria

We are seeking a dedicated Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) to join our team in Cumbria. As a CPN, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the mental health and well-being of individuals in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals' mental health needs
- Develop and implement personalized care plans
- Administer medications and monitor their effectiveness
- Provide therapeutic interventions and counseling
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community agencies
- Offer support and education to individuals and their families
Requirements:
- Valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
- Experience working as a Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN)
- Strong knowledge of mental health disorders and treatments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team
- Compassion and empathy for individuals with mental health challenges
We offer full-time and part-time contracts for this role. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. The hourly rate is £35, with opportunities for career development and progression.
