We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Locum Consultant in Psychiatry to join our team at Pennine Care NHS FT. As a key member of our Older People Psychiatry service, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our mental health services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialist psychiatric care to older adults, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care and support.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of mental health services and policies.
- Participate in education and training programs to enhance professional development and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Eligibility to work in the UK and registration with the GMC.
- Experience in older adult psychiatry and a strong understanding of mental health services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
