Job Title: Teaching Assistant (EAL)

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at a large mainstream secondary school in Lambeth, South London. The successful candidate will support students with moderate learning difficulties and encourage learning across a variety of subjects and year groups.

About the Role:
  • Support students with EAL, ensuring their safety and access to learning activities
  • Establish constructive relationships with students and interact with them according to individual needs
  • Create and maintain a purposeful, orderly and supportive environment, in accordance with lesson plans and assist with students' learning
  • Use strategies, in liaison with the teacher, to support students to achieve learning goals
  • Assist with the planning of learning activities
