As a Bus Maintenance Specialist at Red Sky Personnel, you will be instrumental in the effective upkeep and repair of our fleet of buses within the maintenance facility.

Your previous experience in bus maintenance roles will be critical in meeting the demands of this position.

Key Responsibilities:
Performing maintenance and repair activities on buses to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.

Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults utilizing state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment and methodologies.

Conducting regular inspections and servicing of buses to detect and rectify potential issues.

Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the prompt completion of maintenance assignments.

Following safety guidelines and regulations to maintain a secure working environment.

Skills and Qualifications Required:
Level 3 City & Guilds/NVQ or equivalent certification in Bus or Heavy Goods Vehicle Maintenance.

Holding a Bus license is a plus.

Proven diagnostic skills, especially in identifying and resolving intricate mechanical and electrical challenges.

Prior experience as a Heavy Goods Vehicle, Bus, or Light Commercial Vehicle Technician is highly advantageous.

Meticulous attention to detail and the capability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

As a Technician, you will be tasked with assembling and maintaining various machinery. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical expertise and exceptional problem-solving abilities.

For the Bus Maintenance Specialist role, it is essential to have previous experience in bus maintenance within a dealership or fleet servicing environment.


Duties:

  • Assemble and fabricate components according to specifications
  • Utilize power tools and hand tools to complete assigned tasks
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
Skilled technician (Night shift 4 on 4 off) 4pm - 3am

Skills:

  • Proficient in using power tools and hand tools
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
  • Experience with soldering and electrical wiring
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
