Position Overview

As a Bus Maintenance Technician at Red Sky Personnel Ltd, you will be integral to the effective upkeep and repair of our fleet of buses within our operational facility.

Work Schedule

Shift:
Tuesday - Saturday or Sunday - Thursday, with additional compensation for weekend shifts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct maintenance and repair operations on buses to ensure compliance with safety and performance regulations.
  • Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment to identify mechanical and electrical faults.
  • Perform regular inspections and servicing of buses to detect and rectify potential issues.
  • Collaborate with fellow technicians to ensure the timely completion of maintenance projects.
Qualifications
  • Possession of Level 3 City & Guilds/NVQ or an equivalent qualification in PSV or HGV Maintenance.
  • Proven experience in diagnosing and resolving intricate mechanical and electrical problems.
  • Prior experience as a technician in HGV, PSV, or LCV environments is highly advantageous.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude coupled with exceptional problem-solving capabilities.
Additional Skills
  • Experience in soldering and electrical wiring is preferred.
  • This is a full-time role offering competitive remuneration based on experience.

For the Bus Maintenance Technician position, prior experience in a dealership or fleet maintenance setting is essential.
