Position Overview:
We are seeking a Head of Sales to spearhead our commercial strategy and nurture customer relationships. This role is pivotal in leading our sales team and achieving our ambitious growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and own the commercial strategy, collaborating with your team to formulate and implement ambitious account-level plans.
2. Lead the sales team, fostering strong, customer-focused relationships with our retail partners.
3. Manage the sales forecast, aiming to surpass the established annual business plan (volume, revenue, GP, GM%).
4. Drive initiatives for Revenue Growth Management to enhance profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction.
5. Collaborate across departments to equip the team with necessary resources (food development, marketing, finance).
6. Provide regular performance updates to the Board, highlighting achievements and opportunities.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will be a top-tier commercial professional with a strong passion for sales, possessing extensive experience in the UK Grocery market, particularly within premium brands. You should be highly numerate, capable of distilling key insights from complex data sets, and comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. A genuine love for food is essential.
