Main Responsibilities- Lead and Motivate the Multidisciplinary Team: You will lead and motivate the multidisciplinary team within your ward area to deliver effective patient-focused interventions and timely discharge planning.
- Provide High-Quality Services: You will provide high-quality inpatient and outpatient services that are coordinated and person-centred to the elderly population served by PAH.
- Develop New Models of Care: You will work with the team to develop new models of care within acute elderly pathways and contribute to the development of elective and specialist services.
The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust is a leading provider of healthcare services in west Essex and east Hertfordshire. We are committed to delivering high-quality care to our patients and are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our team.
Person Specification- Training and Experience: You will have training and experience equivalent to that required for UK CCT (or within 6 months of CCT/CESR being issued) in geriatric medicine.
- Registration: You will be registered on the GMC Specialist Register in geriatric medicine or eligible for specialist registration in geriatric Medicine within 6 months from the time of the interview.
- Clinical Experience: You will have broad knowledge and experience of Geriatric Medicine and UK Acute Medicine and Ambulatory Care in the UK.
We offer a competitive salary of £93,666 to £126,281 per annum pro rata, plus a London Fringe allowance of £149. We are committed to investing in our staff and providing opportunities for professional development and growth.
