Geriatrician Specialist

The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled Geriatrician Specialist to join our Elderly Medicine department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality inpatient and outpatient services to our elderly population.
Main Duties- To lead and motivate the multidisciplinary team within the ward area, delivering effective patient-focused interventions and timely discharge planning.
- To create and maintain excellent working relationships with the team, management, and external agencies such as community providers and CCGs.
- To engage fully in the development of services to meet the future challenges of the ageing population.
- To drive forward innovations within the service area and support consultant colleagues in the delivery of their services.
- Training and experience equivalent to that required for UK CCT in geriatric medicine.
- Entry on GMC Specialist Register in geriatric medicine or eligibility for specialist registration within 6 months.
- MRCP and valid ALS or equivalent.
- Full induction and onboarding process.
