About the Role
We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Information Security Specialist to join our Defensive Operations Team on a full-time, permanent basis. As a key member of our team, you will lead the day-to-day information security risk activities and support our Security frameworks (information security policies, implementation guidance, standards) while undertaking security reviews relating to supplier risk management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day information security risk activities and support our Security frameworks.
- Undertake security reviews relating to supplier risk management.
- Oversee the implementation of information security policy, procedures, and standards across the Society and its third parties.
- Engage with the Society's business areas to provide support and guidance.
About You
We're looking for a self-starting individual with excellent problem-solving skills, experience in regulated industries, and a passion for security. You should have a demonstrable understanding of Information Security control standards and frameworks, including ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, Cyber Essentials, and PCI-DSS. Experience assessing and managing Third Party Risk, implementing security controls in the Cloud, and excellent communication skills are also essential.
