About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and communicative Administrative Team Lead to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Clerical Services team within the Radiology Directorate. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of administrative tasks, providing support to staff, and contributing to the overall success of our department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the work of the Clerical Services team, ensuring that tasks are completed to a high standard and deadlines are met.
  • Provide guidance and support to staff, including training and development opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of administrative tasks.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records, reports, and databases to support the effective operation of the team.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency and productivity within the team.

Requirements

  • 5 GCSEs, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent experience.
  • Previous administrative experience, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.

Desirable Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience of working in a supervisory or management role.
  • Knowledge of NHS policies and procedures, including GDPR and data protection.
  • Ability to speak Welsh, with a willingness to learn and develop language skills.
