Job Description:

We are currently working in partnership with an academy trust to recruit a Safeguarding Administrator on a temporary 8-week contract. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the safeguarding team, ensuring the smooth operation of safeguarding processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the safeguarding team with reviewing and maintaining safeguarding documents and records
  • Provide administrative support for safeguarding training delivery and compliance
  • Ensure safeguarding records and systems are up-to-date and accurate
  • Support the safeguarding team with administrative tasks related to Designated Safeguarding Leads
  • Support the completion of safeguarding referrals and referrals to external agencies
  • Have a working knowledge of safeguarding systems and data entry
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the safeguarding team

Requirements:

  • Recent experience working in a secondary school administration setting
  • Experience of safeguarding administration
  • Excellent administrative skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
