About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced System Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Ampa - Legal & Professional Services. As a key member of our infrastructure delivery team, you will play a critical role in maintaining, supporting, and monitoring our existing infrastructure, including servers, storage, networks, data, and applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Infrastructure Management: Be responsible for the ongoing stability and availability of our systems, ensuring they meet our technology standards.
  • Monitoring and Maintenance: Continuously monitor, maintain, and support systems and software to ensure stability and compliance with technology standards.
  • Technical Expertise: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of supported systems and applications, transferring knowledge to junior staff and providing technical guidance as needed.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure the security and compliance of our systems, assessing security status and applying mitigation solutions as required.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Liaise with internal and external partners, including user groups, technical IT consultants, and project managers, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience working as part of an infrastructure delivery team.
  • Change Management: Proven experience in change management and scheduling.
  • Technical Skills: Strong technical skills, including Microsoft solutions (Exchange, AD, SQL, VPN, DNS, DHCP), cloud-based architecture (Azure, Exchange Online, Arc, Intune, Endpoint), and virtualisation technologies (VMware and Nutanix).
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to describe complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Desirable Skills
  • Cloud Management: Experience in managing cloud-based solutions.
  • Server Infrastructure: Experience in managing server infrastructure solutions, including storage.
  • Nutanix AHV and DR: Exposure to Nutanix AHV and disaster recovery (DR) solutions.
  • Rubrik Backup Solution: Experience with the Rubrik backup solution.
