£38,000 - £45,000 + Bonus + Company Car or Car Allowance and leading benefits and training

Are you an experienced sales professional with a passion for the wine industry?

Do you have a track record of success in business development and a strong understanding of the on-trade market?

The Advocate Group is currently representing a leading wine business that is a pioneer within the industry. We are seeking a Business Development Manager to actively seek out new accounts to partner with, while also continuing to increase sales with existing customers within the on-trade market.

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Actively seek out new customers with a focus within the on-trade
  • Work closely with customers to ensure they receive a timely and efficient service when placing orders
  • Utilise existing knowledge and relationships within the industry
  • Continue to maintain and develop relationships with current customers
  • Maximise sales through educating customers on the company brand and portfolio
  • Attend regular meetings with new and existing customers

About You:  

  • On-trade experience is essential
  • Experience within the wine or spirits industry is required
  • Outcome-focused
  • Strong communication and people skills
  • Able to demonstrate a passion for the industry
  • Highly organised and good time management
