Position Title: Application Support Technician
Department: IT Services

Key Responsibilities

The Application Support Technician will be responsible for providing comprehensive support across the organization for escalated application challenges, user interaction, and various application support tasks in a fast-paced IT landscape.

  • Manage and escalate support requests within the ticketing system, ensuring timely responses to user inquiries.
  • Collaborate with the Application Support Team Leader and other departments to deliver outstanding customer service and effective resolutions.
  • Uphold service quality standards and guidelines.
  • Assist in developing internal IT processes and procedures.
  • Support the creation and management of user application accounts, including onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Engage in projects aimed at achieving key business objectives.
  • Maintain accurate departmental documentation, including user manuals and operational procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and external partners, ensuring thorough record-keeping.
  • Stay informed about Information Security protocols, reporting any concerns to the Application Support Team Leader.
  • Previous experience in IT or application support, particularly with software such as Acturis and/or Applied Epic, is preferred.
