About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join NHS Professionals Limited as a Registered Nurse - Learning Disabilities Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to individuals with learning disabilities in a hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and monitor patient conditions, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective care plans.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and carers, promoting a culture of empathy and understanding.
  • Stay up-to-date with current nursing practices, policies, and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 6 months paid experience as a Registered Nurse working with Learning Disabilities in a UK hospital environment within the last 3 years.
  • Comply with NMC Professional Registration and keep up to date with current nursing practices.
