We are a dynamic and expanding multidisciplinary team, boasting an incredibly supportive nursing, management, and administrative team, based in recently refurbished premises in Sheffield Centre.

Consistently voted in the top of Sheffield's GP practices for patient care, we continue to develop our ways of work to best suit our patients, staff, and the ever-changing needs of the world we live in.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our busy and friendly Management and Reception teams as a GP Team Leader. The successful candidate will provide a high standard of support, create great experiences for our patients and staff alike, and deliver effective results in all areas.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deputise and cover the day-to-day running of the practice in the absence of the Practice Manager or Deputy Practice Manager.
  • Ensure Reception administration and appointment duties are delivered successfully.
  • Co-ordinate and participate in Reception duties, ensuring Reception staff are supported, and all patients and visitors are treated in a professional and pleasant manner.
  • Commit to providing excellent customer service for all patients at The Hollies Medical Centre.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Flexibility to work outside of core office hours.
  • Maintain a flexible approach to work and the ability to adapt to a changing environment.
  • Demonstrate motivation and enthusiasm.
  • Able to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
  • Good at multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Computer literacy and keyboard skills, including data input.
  • Experience of working with the general public.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Prioritisation and organisational skills.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • AMSPAR Receptionists Qualification.
  • NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care.
  • Experience of administrative duties in a Primary Care setting.
  • Experience of working in a Care setting.
  • Experience of using SystmOne software.
  • Experience and awareness of using Read Codes.
