Kitchen Porter Team Lead

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Kitchen Porter Team Lead to join our team at Manpower UK. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for leading a small team of Kitchen Porters in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and catering areas.
Key Responsibilities:- Organize and supervise the Kitchen Porters team to ensure that all cleaning schedules and daily tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Operate the dishwasher and maintain the cleanliness of crockery and kitchen equipment.
- Ensure that the kitchen and other catering areas are kept clean and that procedures are maintained to ensure high standards are met.
- Follow all Food Hygiene, Health and Safety, and company policies to ensure compliance and maintain a safe working environment.
- Provide training and induction arrangements for new staff members.
- Motivate and assess team performance to ensure high levels of productivity and efficiency.
- Ensure that all waste and recyclable materials are handled correctly and in line with instructions to minimize the risk of infestation.
- Coordinate the collection and delivery of laundry to ensure timely and efficient service.
- Work in all areas of the kitchen as required, including assisting with food preparation and plating up during service times.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Experience in a similar position in a professional kitchen environment.
- Flexible and reliable approach to work, with a willingness to work overtime when required.
