About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Therapy Assistant to join our team at Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our patients and clients in achieving their goals and improving their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality support to patients and clients in a variety of settings, including community and hospital environments.
  • Assist with the delivery of therapy sessions, including exercises, activities, and interventions.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date records and reports.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a healthcare or social care setting.
  • Relevant qualifications, such as NVQ4 or equivalent, and basic computer skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driving license and access to a car for travel to various settings.
