About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Administrative Assistant to join our Speech and Language Therapy team at Berkshire Healthcare Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the team, ensuring the smooth operation of our services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Speech and Language Therapy team, including managing diaries, arranging meetings, and preparing correspondence.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records, including patient information and treatment plans.
  • Assist with the preparation of communication aids, such as books and boards, for clients.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, carers, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of administrative procedures and policies.

Requirements

  • Excellent administrative skills, including experience of managing diaries and preparing correspondence.
  • Ability to maintain accurate and confidential records.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic understanding of the role of a Speech and Language Therapist and the services provided by the team.
