Taxation Specialist for Partnerships

Role Overview: The primary objective of this position is to collaborate with fellow Partnership Tax Accountants to ensure the accurate and timely management of partners' remuneration and tax obligations. Your key responsibilities will encompass:

  • Addressing inquiries from partners regarding their remuneration and tax situations.
  • Calculating net of tax drawing allowances for partners and arranging payments.
  • Managing partner promotions and transitions.
  • Preparing tax reserves for partners, along with associated journal entries, personal tax filings, and tax remittances to HMRC.
  • Reviewing partner tax accounts and facilitating the release of tax reserve balances upon the conclusion of the tax year.
  • Engaging in tax planning for partners, including available reliefs for pension contributions.
  • Handling the exit of partners and reconciling current account balances.

Qualifications and Skills: To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

  • Relevant experience or ATT qualification.
  • A minimum of 8 years in personal taxation.
  • Proficiency in Excel.
  • Experience with CCH personal tax software.
  • High standards of confidentiality, discretion, and diplomacy.
  • The capability to process substantial amounts of data efficiently and accurately.
