Taxation Specialist for Partnerships

Role Overview: The primary objective of this position is to collaborate with fellow Partnership Tax Accountants to ensure that the financial and tax matters of partners are managed with precision and promptness. Your key responsibilities will encompass:
- Addressing inquiries from partners regarding their financial and tax situations
- Calculating net of tax drawings allowances for partners and arranging payments
- Managing partner promotions and adjustments
- Preparing tax reserves for partners, related journals, personal tax filings, and tax remittances to HMRC
- Reviewing partner tax accounts and managing the release of tax reserve balances post fiscal year-end
- Engaging in tax strategy for partners, including available reliefs for pension contributions
- Handling transitions of departing partners and reconciling current account balances
Qualifications and Skills: To excel in this role, candidates should possess:
- Experience-based qualifications or ATT certification
- A minimum of 8 years in personal taxation
- Proficiency in Excel
- Experience with CCH personal tax software
- High standards of confidentiality, discretion, and diplomacy
- Capability to process substantial amounts of data swiftly and accurately
