About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dermatology Consultant to join our team at Somerset NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our dermatology department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our clinical services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert care to patients with a range of skin conditions, including skin cancer, acne, and psoriasis.
  • Conduct outpatient clinics and inpatient consultations, as well as minor surgical procedures.
  • Work closely with our multidisciplinary team, including nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
  • Contribute to the development of our clinical services, including the development of new treatments and therapies.
Person Specification
  • MRCP or equivalent qualification in dermatology.
  • Completion of dermatology training with CCT.
  • 4 years as a dermatology trainee.
  • Strong commitment to developing the clinical service.
  • GCP training.
  • Research training.
