Job Summary:

The Isle of Wight Council is seeking a highly skilled Business Support Coordinator to join their Children's Services Resilience Around the Family Team (RAFT). As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for coordinating Family Time supervised contacts, meetings, and supervisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and organize Family Time sessions (Supervised contact) under the professional guidance and supervision of Children's Services.
  • Work alongside experienced social workers and managers to improve outcomes for families.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including children, families, and community partners.
  • Provide administrative support to the team, including data entry, record-keeping, and reporting.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure the effective delivery of services.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children and families in a support role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
