About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Hightown Housing Association. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with learning disabilities in our supported living service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personalized support to service users with their day-to-day needs, promoting independence and empowering them to make informed decisions.
- Develop and implement individualized support plans, taking into account the unique needs and aspirations of each service user.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies to ensure seamless delivery of care and support services.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive team environment, promoting a culture of respect and empathy.
About You
We are looking for a passionate and motivated individual who shares our commitment to providing exceptional care and support. As a Support Worker, you will have:
Experience of working in a care setting or health and social care field, with a strong understanding of the needs of vulnerable adults.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with service users, colleagues, and external partners.A flexible and adaptable approach, with a willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.A commitment to equality and diversity, with a strong understanding of the importance of promoting inclusivity and respect.What We Offer
