We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced medical leader to join our team as Deputy Medical Director at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. This is an exciting opportunity for a senior clinical leader to make a significant impact on patient care and staff satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Provide senior clinical leadership and support to the Medical Director in delivering high-quality care.
- Deputise for the Medical Director and take on professional responsibilities, including quality and safety, learning from deaths, medicines management, risk and assurance, and clinical effectiveness.
- Work closely with the Medical Director to develop and implement strategies to improve patient care and staff experience.
- Lead and manage a team of clinical leaders to achieve excellence in patient care and staff satisfaction.
- Proven medical leadership experience at senior level, with a strong track record of leadership and management.
- Full Registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) without any conditions or restrictions on licence to practise.
- Evidence of participation in annual appraisal and continuing professional development (CPD).
- Desirable qualifications include a Master's degree or equivalent in clinical leadership, a formal management qualification, and membership of the Faculty of Medical Leadership and Management (FMLM).
- Desirable experience includes previous work at Board level within an acute Trust, experience in mentoring or coaching clinical leaders, and experience of clinical leadership at regional or national level.
