Senior Estimator

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimator to join our team at Steel Connexions Ltd., a specialist recruitment company dedicated to the structural steelwork industry and associated trades.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in Structural Steel estimating, with a strong background in preparing and producing tenders for large scale, multi-storey projects. Excellent numerical, analytical, communication, and organisational skills are essential, along with strong commercial acumen and problem-solving abilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and produce accurate, detailed, and timely tenders for Structural Steel and Cladding construction projects to secure profitable work orders.
- Collaborate with estimating management, production management, site management, and company directors to ensure successful project delivery.
- Carry out material take-offs, estimating all required labour, materials, and equipment costs, including MEWPs and Crane costs.
- Liaise internally and externally as required to ensure accurate pricing.
- A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years estimating experience in the Structural Steel industry.
- High level of familiarity with the UK Steel industry.
- Excellent leadership capabilities and strong commercial acumen.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
