We are currently partnering with a Local Authority to assist in the recruitment of a Community Safety Officer. This position is a contract role with a strong likelihood of extension based on the client's needs. We encourage you to submit your CV for consideration.

Compensation: £20.16 per Hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough investigations into incidents of disturbance and intimidation, offering comprehensive support to residents as necessary.
  • Work collaboratively with relevant organizations to establish and execute effective strategies.
  • Manage correspondence and advise on suitable legal measures in conjunction with the Council's Legal Department.
  • Engage with complainants and subjects in their residences, and prepare for court appearances when necessary.
  • Play an integral role within the Tenancy Services Division, overseeing all community safety matters in line with the Council's guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Community Safety role within the housing sector.
  • Experience with the QL Housing Management System is preferred.

  • Immediate availability or a short notice period is essential.
  • Eligibility to work in the U.K. is required.
