About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Urology Cancer Pathway Navigator to join our team at West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. As a key member of our Urology department, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth running of our prostate cancer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Urology clinical and administrative team with the management of prostate cancer patients.
  • Utilize prostate biopsy clinics, book MRI's, and monitor outpatient activity.
  • Communicate with patients to confirm appointments and manage administrative duties such as letters and prepping for image review meetings.
  • Track patients on the prostate cancer pathway and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • Experience as an NHS Administrator.
  • Good IT literacy and working knowledge of hospital computer systems.
  • Knowledge of urology cancer pathways and NHS Cancer Waiting Times.
  • Previous experience working in/or with cancer MDT teams.
