Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Elective Booking and Scheduling Team as a Children and Young People Officer. This is a part-time position, working 18.5 hours per week, and is an excellent opportunity for someone to develop their skills in a dynamic and supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate admission and associated pre-operative assessment clinics for children and young people undergoing elective surgery.
  • Act as a named contact point, liaising with patients, relatives, and medical representatives to ensure seamless communication and care.
  • Ensure compliance with Trust policies, including Health and Safety, Infection Control, and Data Protection.
  • Assist in the training of new team members, as required, to maintain high standards of care and service.
