Job Description

We're seeking a seasoned SEO professional to lead our SEO team, drive product development, and capitalize on growth opportunities in this area. As Head of SEO, you'll be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities
  • Leading the SEO team, developing the product, and ensuring strategic and commercial solutions
  • Responsible for Climb Online's SEO product development, customization, and delivery
  • Overseeing all aspects of SEO, including strategy, technical, content, authority, and digital PR
  • Building and managing the daily running of the SEO team in the UK and offshore teams
  • Establishing Climb Online's SEO offering as an industry leader through high-quality delivery and achieving industry recognition
  • Team management, development, and recruitment for the SEO team
  • International team management
  • Continual development as a manager, building strong working relationships, and improving efficiency
  • Overall responsibility for financial and strategic growth of SEO
  • Collaboration with the sales team on new business pitches and SEO projects for clients
  • Growing SEO team revenue through existing services and identifying new market opportunities
  • Visibility, responsibility, and control over the profitability of the SEO department
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in an SEO role, preferably agency-side
  • Deep understanding of SEO strategy, technical, content, authority, and digital PR
  • Knowledge of SEO tools, including SEMrush and Screaming Frog
  • Strong experience in building and maintaining client relationships
  • Understanding of the interplay between SEO, PPC, and Social
  • Ability to implement SEO strategies across a broad range of clients and industries
  • Passion for the industry and staying up-to-date with trends, news, and technology
