Position Overview:
As a Cost Control Manager at KION Group, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the effective deployment and continuous enhancement of our Quotation Management Application (QMA). This application serves as a comprehensive costing tool, integrating data on components, design hours, and various cost elements to ensure precise project pricing for our clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate costing data and collaborate with relevant teams to enhance the EMEA QMA costing framework.
  • Revise the EMEA maestro services catalog and QMA calculations.
  • Articulate EMEA requirements, prioritize system bugs and enhancements, and advocate for tool improvements.
  • Streamline the costing workflow and assist in developing standardized costing methodologies using advanced automated tools.
  • Provide training and support to users, troubleshooting QMA issues as necessary.
  • Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of maestro/QMA within the Quality Assurance (QA) environment.
  • Work alongside software developers to outline, schedule, and implement enhancements to the QMA tool.
  • Encourage the exchange of ideas and feedback within the Costing Community.
  • Offer project estimation assistance to the EMEA regions.
  • Engage with global roles, such as Global Solution Owner (GSO) and Global Product Specialist (GPS), to represent EMEA needs.
  • Collaborate with other EMEA communities to promote harmonization across Solution Development (SD) EMEA.
  • Update costing models by identifying trends, considering stakeholder perspectives, and proposing solutions to enhance performance and order intake.
  • Partner with functional and global teams to support the execution of global and regional costing-related initiatives, fostering competitiveness and innovation.
  • Resolve complex operational challenges, build relationships, and maintain integrity in all actions.
  • Propose solutions to enhance the efficiency and execution of the costing process within Solution Development (SD).

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Experience in a dynamic, global engineering or technology organization.
  • Proven ability to leverage data and metrics to assess needs, drive improvements, and measure outcomes.
  • Strong analytical capabilities utilizing tools such as Excel, SQL databases, and Power BI.
  • Demonstrated capacity to establish credibility and trust with a diverse array of stakeholders.
  • Adept at managing competing priorities with flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced business environment.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is advantageous.
  • Customer-centric approach with a history of delivering results.
  • Unwavering integrity, assertiveness, and confidence in fulfilling responsibilities.
