About the Role:
The successful candidate will work closely with the Internal Sales Team to provide sales support and develop skills in product information, marketing tools, quotations, application engineering, and product development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Internal Sales Team in providing sales support and developing skills in product information, marketing tools, quotations, application engineering, and product development.
- Participate in full structured training to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Provide technical assistance, pricing strategies, and competitive information to external sales teams.
- Prepare competitive and compliant quotations using available software to meet client specifications or propose suitable alternatives.
- Evaluate and implement product discount strategies to meet sales and profit margin goals.
- Follow up on quotes issued for feedback from external sales and clients.
- Utilize company CRM systems in line with best practice and company policy.
- Provide a weekly report on workload to the Internal Sales Supervisor.
- Prepare and distribute literature, pricing information, technical data, and promotional materials to sales offices.
Requirements:
- Minimum of A-Level qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or similar fields (Mathematics, Physics, etc.).
- Industry experience in a Technical Sales or Estimators role is desirable but not required.
- An understanding of Mechanical principles is an advantage.
