Key Responsibilities
Delivering a clinical pharmacy service on the wards, with the chance to engage with patients across various specialties, including emergency medicine, surgery, cardiology, intensive care, gastroenterology, pediatrics, frailty, oncology/hematology, and respiratory. Conducting clinical verification and accuracy checks on prescriptions, encompassing inpatient, outpatient, and discharge prescriptions. Providing guidance to medical, nursing, and other healthcare professionals, as well as patients, regarding the safe and effective use of medications. Assisting with medicines reconciliation, discharge planning, and patient counseling, supported by our team of pharmacy technicians.We are eager to accommodate flexible working arrangements whenever feasible.
