Luxury Retail Boutique Leader

HOW WILL YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE?

We are seeking a Luxury Retail Boutique Leader for our flagship store. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be instrumental in crafting and executing local strategies while guiding the team to enhance sales, customer relationship management, and client service within the boutique.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspire the sales team to consistently meet or surpass sales objectives.
  • Optimize business potential by fostering synergies and operational efficiency throughout the boutique.
  • Oversee the formulation and execution of the boutique's strategic action plan.
  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly performance analyses.
  • Regularly review outcomes with the Managing Director and proactively suggest necessary adjustments.
  • Collaborate with all Corporate Departments in Milan (e.g., visual merchandising, marketing, etc.) to implement global strategies and action plans.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the boutique's operations and evaluate local market opportunities to establish a proactive and effective sales strategy.
  • Partner with the Marketing Manager to deploy CRM strategies aimed at enhancing client acquisition and retention.
  • Actively engage in networking initiatives, including client events.
  • Manage stock and foster team development:
  • Encourage and support the team, including the Deputy Manager and Sales Associates.
  • Communicate strategic brand initiatives to the team.
  • Facilitate regular team meetings (daily, weekly, monthly) to ensure staff awareness of targets and best practices in client experience.
  • Oversee administrative and HR responsibilities (including rota management, commissions, absence control, etc.).
  • Participate actively in the recruitment process for your team and provide comprehensive onboarding and training for new hires.
  • Design and implement a training strategy for the sales team.
  • Lead the performance management process through regular individual meetings with the sales team, including annual reviews.
  • Ensure that the team consistently delivers an exceptional client experience while maintaining the highest standards of courtesy and professionalism.
  • Foster long-term client relationships that result in enhanced business opportunities.
  • Ensure a premium luxury experience for our clients and maintain a visible presence on the sales floor.
  • Manage operating expenses: monitor, analyze, and recommend action plans to optimize controllable costs.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all operational procedures (stock management, security, audits, financial processes, etc.).
  • Oversee daily setup and breakdown of the boutique as needed.
  • Collaborate closely with the team to ensure seamless cooperation.
  • Possess a deep understanding of the brand and its full range of products and services to convey heritage and values.
  • Encourage the adoption of new technology-based service tools.
  • Understand and comply with security and operational protocols (e.g., product handling, inventory control, etc.).
  • Ensure the team adheres to security regulations concerning clients, staff, and inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with credit card and accounting procedures.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the relevant marketplace and client demographics.
  • Uphold the brand's image by maintaining a professional demeanor at all times and acting as an ambassador for the company.
  • Ensure the boutique is maintained to the highest standards (cleanliness, materials' condition, display equipment, etc.).
  • Control staff presentation: uniforms, behavior, language, and attitude towards clients.

HOW WILL YOU ACHIEVE SUCCESS WITH US?

  • Proven experience in business and personnel management, particularly in luxury retail.
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills are advantageous.
  • Availability to work retail hours, including weekends.
  • Strong leadership capabilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Flexible mindset with the capacity to adapt to change.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proactive approach to assessing business and human resource needs.
  • Ability to project a professional and approachable image in personal appearance and demeanor.
