Job Title: Clinical Psychologist

Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team.

About the Role:

We are looking for a Clinical Psychologist to provide high-quality psychological services across both inpatient and community teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for direct leadership of psychological professionals and oversight of Governed Psychological Therapies (e.g. CBT ED, CAT, MANTRA) and psychologically informed interventions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provision of professional and clinical supervision to psychological professionals and members of the wider MDT.
  • Support the delivery of assessment, formulation, and psychological intervention to individuals/groups with an eating disorder as well as supporting families/carers.
  • Hold a small clinical caseload.
  • Lead in service developments, providing a psychological perspective on service priorities.
  • Work closely with clinical, operational, and professional leadership within the service and the wider trust to ensure effective governance of the service in line with Trust policies and frameworks.
  • Support the development, training, and workforce expansion of psychological professionals in line with national priorities for increased provision of evidence-based psychological therapies for eating disorders.
Liaison and Consultation:

Represent the Trust and Psychological Professionals in system-wide developments relating to eating disorders, where appropriate and agreed.
