About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Recreation Assistant. As a key member of our leisure team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facility Management
    • Open and close the facility, ensuring it is ready for weekend football matches
    • Clean and maintain the facilities, including team changing rooms and public areas
  • Customer Service
    • Provide excellent customer service to visitors, including football teams and their officials
    • Assist with event setup and coordination, including parties and meetings
  • Pitch Management
    • Check the pitch for suitability of play during poor weather
    • Distribute and collect pitch equipment, including nets and corner flags
  • Communication
    • Communicate effectively with football clubs and other stakeholders

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and independently
  • Basic maintenance skills and knowledge of facility operations
