Onsite Technical Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Onsite Technical Manager to join our team at LiveBuzz. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of events across the UK, from intimate conferences to large-scale gatherings.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the onsite registration process for events of all sizes, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional attendee experiences.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing expert guidance and support throughout the event.
- Set up, operate, and break down registration equipment with ease, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
- Quickly troubleshoot technical issues, providing solutions that meet the needs of clients and attendees.
- Build strong relationships with clients, delivering top-notch service and exceeding expectations.
- Oversee entrance and queue operations, ensuring a smooth flow of attendees and minimizing congestion.
- Advise clients on best practices to enhance the onsite experience, leveraging your expertise to drive event success.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments, applying your knowledge to improve event operations and delivery.
- A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, able to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and attendees.
- Technical expertise in hardware setup and configuration, with a proven track record of delivering successful events.
- Microsoft proficiency, with experience in using Microsoft products to drive event operations and delivery.
- A proven leader, able to motivate and guide teams in high-pressure situations.
- Organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A quick learner, able to adapt to new processes and technologies with ease.
- A calm and focused individual, able to remain composed under pressure and make sound decisions.
- A full UK driving license and flexibility to travel, with a willingness to work varied hours and adapt to changing circumstances.
