Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of participants, providing guidance and support to help them achieve sustainable employment.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and goals.
  • Conduct job-search activities, identifying potential barriers to employment and providing solutions.
  • Ensure all necessary employability tools, such as CVs and covering letters, are in place.

Requirements:

  • A good working knowledge of the local labour market and basic knowledge of self-employment.
  • Fully IT literate in using a range of Microsoft Office programmes.
  • Experience of working in a target-driven environment and delivering services to meet contractual and quality standards.

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of the employability industry and experience of working with people in the provision of 'information, advice & guidance'.
  • Full driving licence.
