This position is centered on facilitating organizational change through the strategic implementation of digital manufacturing and artificial intelligence technologies, aimed at optimizing workflows, enhancing product quality, and securing competitive advantages in the industry.

The role will report to the project manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with the project team to define clear project requirements, streamline workflows, establish procedures, and implement necessary controls.
  • Assist in the planning, organization, and scoping of initiatives to ensure effective development of project specifications.
  • Engage in creative problem-solving, generating innovative concepts that align with project objectives.
  • Exhibit meticulous attention to detail, consistently upholding high standards through personal example.
  • Prepare documentation, user manuals, and training resources for end users and team members.
  • Fully understand and adhere to corporate values, equality, and ethics policies.

Requirements:

Essential:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Familiarity with JLR DCP standards.
  • Experience in PLC programming, specifically with Rockwell RS Studio 5000.
  • Advanced proficiency in programming languages, including at least one of C/C++/C#.NET/Python.
  • Proficient in relational database management systems such as MS SQL and SQLite.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, Project, Visio, and SharePoint/Teams.
  • Extensive experience with version control systems, including git and Azure DevOps.
  • Competent in mapping information flow and operational sequences.
  • Strong report writing skills and the ability to communicate complex issues to diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • A degree in engineering or mathematics, or equivalent industry experience.

Advantageous:

  • Ability to create and interpret electrical designs using Eplan.
  • Solid understanding of GNU/Linux and Microsoft Windows operating systems.
  • Knowledge of artificial intelligence concepts.
  • Experience with AI frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow.
  • Familiarity with graph databases like Neo4j.
  • Experience with machine vision frameworks, including OpenCV.
  • Understanding of IP networking and communication protocols such as TCP, UDP, FTP, SSH, SCP, and SFTP.
  • Capability to configure and troubleshoot IP networks.
  • Ability to analyze pneumatic and mechanical schematics.
  • Comprehension of data management principles.
