We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HR Advisor to join our team at Spire Healthcare Ltd. As an HR Advisor, you will play a critical role in supporting the hospital with all aspects of HR, providing expert advice and guidance to Spire colleagues and managers.
Key Responsibilities- Workforce Planning: Collaborate with the hospital Senior Management Team to drive effective workforce planning, ensuring the right people are in the right roles at the right time.
- Onboarding: Lead the hospital onboarding activities for all new joiners, ensuring a seamless and comprehensive induction process.
- Probation and Performance Management: Support managers and new starters through probation periods, providing guidance and advice to ensure successful outcomes.
- HR Administration: Ensure accurate and confidential management of all colleague HR files and personal information, adhering to GDPR guidelines.
- Wellbeing and Absence Management: Promote wellbeing initiatives and tools, and actively manage absence to reduce short-term absence and effectively manage long-term absence.
- Employee Relations: Be the initial point of contact for all HR matters, providing high-quality, consistent HR advice in line with Spire policy, procedure, and best practice.
- Disciplinary and Grievance Issues: Support managers in performance management processes, disciplinary, and grievance issues, attending meetings and discussions as required.
- Appraisals and Pay Reviews: Coordinate the appraisal process, supporting managers to have regular 1:1s with colleagues, and ensure fairness and consistency in annual pay reviews.
- CIPD Qualification: Level 5 CIPD qualification or equivalent.
- HR Experience: Demonstrable experience as a HR Advisor or in another HR-based role.
- HR Knowledge: Knowledge of HR functions and systems, including pay and benefits, recruitment, training, and development.
- Employment Law: Understanding of employment laws and disciplinary/grievance procedures.
- Problem-Solving and Communication: Ability to identify and implement business-focused solutions, problem-solve, and communicate effectively at all levels.
- Organisation and Time Management: Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workload and manage time effectively.
- Confidentiality: Ability to manage confidential information appropriately.
- Personal Standards: High personal standards and quality of work output, with outstanding organisational and time-management abilities.
