Patient Experience and Complaints Manager for Women's Health

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Patient Experience and Complaints Manager to join our team at East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Women's Health Care Group, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care and service.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage and resolve complaints in a timely and effective manner, ensuring that patients and their families receive a high level of service and support.
- Develop and maintain robust administrative systems to ensure that all complaints are thoroughly understood and logged, and that clients' intentions and preferences are noted.
- Build relationships with care groups to challenge and support them in meeting agreed timescales and to ensure that complaints are resolved efficiently.
- Write clear and comprehensive responses to complaints, working towards our goal of getting it right first time.
- Establish learning and actions from complaints, which can be shared with the wider Trust to improve services.

Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with complainants and care groups.
- Strong administrative skills, with the ability to maintain robust and transparent systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of complaints procedures and policies.
- Experience of working in a complaints environment, or a registered midwife looking to work within the governance team.
