Position Overview:


As a Supervisor within our Highways Term Maintenance division, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of Highway Coring teams, ensuring the effective execution of surface dressing preparation tasks and other related duties.

This position demands strong leadership, exceptional organizational skills, and the capability to manage multiple projects and teams efficiently.

Primary Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee Highway Coring teams, ensuring that all work is performed safely, efficiently, and meets the established quality standards.

Plan and schedule surface dressing preparation tasks, including pothole repairs, siding out, line removal, line reinstatements, and cat's eye management.


Coordination and Communication:
Organize and manage communication for planned works and maintain transparent communication with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
Assist in verge maintenance activities, provide support during winter maintenance operations, and manage emergency out-of-hours responses as necessary.
Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies. - Conduct regular site inspections and audits to uphold high safety and quality standards.
Maintain precise records of all completed works, report progress to management, and offer feedback for ongoing improvement.

Qualifications and Experience:
Prior experience in highway maintenance supervision or a comparable role.
Strong understanding of highway construction and maintenance practices.
Familiarity with surface dressing, pothole repairs, and line and cat's eye management.
Experience with winter maintenance and emergency response operations is advantageous.
Willingness to work out-of-hours and respond to emergencies as required.
