Recruitment Consultant – White-Collar Temporary/Interim Construction Division

Compensation: Salary with Uncapped Commission – OTE £60,000 +++

Position Overview:

We are in search of a results-oriented Recruitment Consultant with substantial experience in the construction sector. This role presents a unique chance to lead the creation of a new desk dedicated to white-collar temporary and interim placements within the construction industry. You will be instrumental in cultivating client relationships, sourcing top-tier candidates, and delivering superior recruitment services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Desk Establishment: Initiate and develop the White-Collar Temporary/Interim Construction Desk, pinpointing and targeting significant market opportunities.
  • Client Relationship Management: Forge and sustain robust relationships with both new and existing clients, comprehending their staffing requirements and offering customized recruitment solutions.
  • Candidate Acquisition: Attract, evaluate, and place qualified candidates in temporary and interim white-collar positions within the construction sector.
  • Business Growth: Actively seek and pursue new business opportunities, broadening the client base and enhancing revenue growth.
  • Market Awareness: Remain informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to provide insightful recruitment advice and strategies.
  • Consultative Recruitment: Provide expert advice to clients and candidates, ensuring a smooth and professional recruitment process.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: At least 3 years of recruitment experience, particularly within the construction sector, focusing on white-collar roles.
  • Industry Expertise: Comprehensive understanding of the construction industry, including key roles, market trends, and recruitment challenges.
  • Proven Success: A track record of building and managing a recruitment desk, meeting targets, and delivering results.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities, capable of establishing trust with clients and candidates.
  • Business Development Skills: Strong skills in identifying and pursuing business opportunities with a proactive and strategic mindset.
  • Self-Motivation: Goal-oriented and capable of working independently to achieve targets and foster desk growth.
