About the Role

This is a full-time clinical post, with the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment. As a Trainee Advanced Nurse Practitioner, you will work under supervision to develop your skills and knowledge in assessing, investigating, diagnosing, planning, implementing, managing, and evaluating care for patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work under supervision to develop your skills and knowledge in assessing, investigating, diagnosing, planning, implementing, managing, and evaluating care for patients.
  • Assume responsibility for the daily management of the clinical areas, working under supervision.
  • Practice as a trainee ANP using collaborative and independent judgment to assess, investigate, diagnose, plan, implement, manage, and evaluate care for patients.
  • Plan and manage complete episodes of care, working in collaboration with senior medical colleagues and others when required.
  • Be responsible for the rapid assessment, diagnostics, and treatment of individuals within the Mental Health Community Service, using an advanced level of professional accountability, autonomy, and judgment.
Requirements
  • Registered Mental Health Nurse qualification.
  • 3 years' experience in Community Mental Health (preferred).
  • NMC registration.
