Advanced Practitioner, Family Safeguarding Social Worker

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practitioner to join our Family Safeguarding Team in Taunton. As an Advanced Practitioner, you will work closely with dedicated and child-focused social workers and Family Safeguarding adult workers to support parents and carers who have experienced domestic abuse, mental health support needs, and substance misuse issues.
Key Responsibilities:- Hold a caseload of complex work, including Child in Need, Child Protection, and pre-proceedings/court work
- Quality assure care planning in the area teams
- Support the team in practice educating students, co-working, mentoring less experienced colleagues, and chairing planning meetings and Strategy Discussions
- At least 3 years of post-Social Work qualification experience in Safeguarding
- Ability to develop and grow strong and supportive working relationships with children and young people, parents and carers, and professional agencies
- Registration with Social Work England
- Ongoing support, training, and guidance to help you be the best you can be
