As a seasoned sales professional, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of independent builders merchants, DIY, and garden centre accounts across the South East region. Your primary objective will be to sell a comprehensive range of tools, ironmongery, and fencing supplies, while building strong relationships with key decision-makers.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of selling to independent merchants, DIY, and garden centre sectors, with a strong focus on account management and relationship-building. You will be working closely with the directors, marketing team, and other Area Sales Managers to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
The successful candidate will have autonomy to make commercial decisions on pricing, promotions, and rebates, making this a highly rewarding role for a sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Sell a range of tools, ironmongery, and fencing supplies to independent builders merchants, DIY, and garden centre accounts
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers
- Manage a portfolio of 100+ spending accounts
- Identify new business opportunities and bring on new customers
- Work closely with the directors, marketing team, and other Area Sales Managers to achieve sales targets
- Proven track record of selling to independent merchants, DIY, and garden centre sectors
- Strong focus on account management and relationship-building
- Autonomy to make commercial decisions on pricing, promotions, and rebates
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
