We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Youth Work Team Leader to join our team at Leeds Teaching Hospitals. As a key member of our youth work department, you will be responsible for leading and managing our youth work services and strategy for patients aged 11-25 years across the trust.
Main Responsibilities- Lead and manage the delivery of youth work services and strategy across the trust
- Develop and implement specialized individualized programs of youth work intervention
- Ensure an outstanding and equitable youth work service is provided across the trust
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with young people, families, and healthcare professionals
- Provide leadership, management, and professional supervision to a team of senior youth workers
- Significant post-qualification experience at a manager level, managing a service or equivalent youth work experience within a health or community setting
- Experience of managing and leading a team, service development, and change management
- Leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team through change
- Advanced communication skills, with the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to work autonomously, with a high level of self-motivation and initiative
