About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead to join our team at Springwood Unit in Malton. As a Clinical Lead, you will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to our nursing staff, ensuring that we deliver high-quality care to our patients living with dementia and additional frailties.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of nurses to provide person-centered care to patients with dementia and additional vulnerabilities.
  • Develop and implement care plans that focus on positive behavior support and the development of support plans that follow patients through discharge.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams across North Yorkshire and the wider organization to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Develop and mentor staff within your team to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with the Ward Manager to ensure the ward continues to provide the highest standards of care.
Requirements
  • Current professional registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC).
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
  • Recognized Practice Supervisor and/or Practice Assessor, clinical educator or equivalent.
  • Trained in Clinical Supervision and providing clinical supervision.
  • Minimum of 12 months experience post-completion of preceptorship experience working with people with mental ill health, Autism or Learning Disability in a care environment.
