Position Overview:

The Automation and Robotics Business Development Executive plays a crucial role in nurturing strategic partnerships and enhancing customer engagement. This position focuses on promoting Schneider Electric's comprehensive offerings in industrial automation and robotics through effective account management and consultative sales practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead business development initiatives by crafting and executing tailored account strategies for each strategic client in your portfolio.
  • Establish and sustain relationships with senior executives to cultivate a robust pipeline of opportunities aimed at surpassing financial objectives.
  • Collaborate with your extended team to analyze and support the supply chain of your clients, including contractors, system integrators, panel builders, OEMs, and IT partners.
  • Maintain an updated list of strategic accounts and actively pursue prospects from various sources.
  • Conduct thorough research to qualify potential leads and engage through face-to-face or virtual interactions.
  • Identify and categorize target accounts to facilitate the implementation of Schneider Electric solutions, including machine and system integrators, as well as channel partners.
  • Engage technical resources as necessary to assess applications and demonstrate products or software effectively.
  • Formulate the commercial strategy, encompassing pricing, prototyping, and resource allocation for internal conversion.
  • Design a strategic revenue generation plan for consultations, proof of concepts, pilot projects, and full-scale implementations by partners.
  • Deliver comprehensive plans to clients aimed at modernizing their logistics, warehouse, and retail operations, utilizing Schneider's digital twin platform and software tools.
  • Provide insights on market trends, competitor activities, and new product developments to relevant stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with the broader Schneider Electric team to identify cross-selling opportunities across various product lines and services.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Extensive experience in business development with a proven history of successfully managing specifications and collaborating within a complex sales environment.
  • A strong interest in digitization, sustainability, and technological innovation, with a commitment to staying informed about market trends and customer challenges.
  • Exceptional business acumen and communication skills, coupled with a drive to excel in a prominent sales role.
