Design Support Specialist

IA Interior Architects is seeking a talented Design Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development of interior design projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with senior designers to develop design ideas and concepts
  • Provide preliminary reviews of engineering drawings to ensure compliance with design solutions
  • Develop preliminary space plans at a high level, under the supervision of senior designers
  • Research and collect details for furniture and finishes cost estimates
  • Assist senior staff with verification of site details to support design
  • Assist in field surveying of client spaces
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an architecture, interior architecture, or interior design program
  • 3-5 years of related work experience
  • Advanced Revit abilities
  • Advanced Adobe Creative Suite abilities
  • Detailed experience of concept design and familiarity with suppliers
  • Ability to work in the office at least 3 days a week
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working on projects in the UK and/or EU
  • Knowledge of building systems, codes, and accessibility requirements
